Four known Islanders, Lisa Lubarsky, Cheryl Bergeron, Michael Bergeron, and John Chan, will be toeing the start line.
They will be running down the Ben Franklin Parkway into the heart of the city...
They will quickly make it to the waterfront on Columbus Blvd...
...then will turn towards Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell.
They'll make their way through City Hall to University City...
...then emerge from the urban landscape into Fairmount Park.
Then back out of Fairmount Park to The Museum of Art again, where they started.
But it's not a time to celebrate yet! They are only slightly past halfway done. Now it's time for the 12 mile out and back on Kelly Drive...
...to the party-like turnaround at Manayunk.
Then back for the last 10k of the race to the finish!
And get this for their efforts. :-)
